This policy explains what information Bakaya Inc., operating as Bakaya Partners ("we", "us") collects through bakayapartners.com, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us through our forms or by email:
- Hiring and contact forms: your name, work email, company, and the message you write.
- Engineer applications: your name, email, location, years of experience, main technologies, links to your LinkedIn and GitHub or portfolio, and any notes you add.
- Email: anything you send to hello@bakayapartners.com.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, rough location, device type, and whether a form was submitted). We do not use advertising cookies, and we turn off Google signals and ad personalization.
A banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies, and the "Cookie settings" link in the footer lets you change your choice at any time. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Quebec, analytics cookies stay off until you accept. Elsewhere they are on until you decline. If you decline, Google Analytics does not set analytics cookies, but it may still receive limited anonymous signals (such as which page was loaded) that Google uses for aggregate modelling. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we do not load analytics at all.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange an introductory call
- To assess engineer applications and match engineers with clients
- To run and improve our service and keep it secure
We do not sell your personal information.
Who processes it
Form submissions are delivered to our inbox using Amazon Web Services (API Gateway, Lambda and Simple Email Service). The website is hosted on AWS. We share an engineer's details with a client only as part of a match, and only for roles you are being considered for.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and applications for as long as they are useful for the purpose they were collected for, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, email hello@bakayapartners.com and we will respond promptly.
