Our vetting
Why you can trust the shortlist
Every engineer we introduce has already been assessed on the things that predict success on the job.
- System design: do they reason well about real constraints?
- Hands-on coding: is their code clear, tested and maintainable?
- References: do people who worked with them describe specific wins?
- Working style: how do they communicate and handle ambiguity?
- Engineers apply
- Technical screening
- System design interview
- Hands-on coding assessment
- Reference checks
- Introduced to clients

Questions
About the process
What happens in the first conversation?
We talk through your business, systems, team and timeline, and what success looks like. It's a conversation, not a sales pitch. By the end we can usually tell whether we can help and which route makes sense.
How do you scope a project?
After discovery we write a plan with milestones, risks and who does what. You review it before committing, and the plan can change as we learn, with your agreement.
How are engineers vetted before I meet them?
Each engineer completes a multi-stage assessment: technical screening, a system design conversation, a hands-on coding assessment and reference checks. We accept roughly the top 5% of applicants.
What do you handle so I don't have to?
We handle the search, screening, contracts and administration. You focus on interviewing and, once someone starts, on the work itself.
What if it isn't working out?
We stay in touch after the start date precisely so problems surface early. If a placement isn't right, we'll talk it through with you openly and find the best next step.
Tell us what you're dealing with.
Book a free, no-obligation call. You'll talk to a senior engineer, we'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and you'll leave with a clear next step either way.
