Fixed-fee assessment
Know exactly where you stand before you commit
A one-to-two-week review of your application, cloud setup or workflow, with a written report and a prioritized roadmap. A low-risk first step, and the report is yours either way.

What we review
Four kinds of assessment
Pick one, or combine them. We'll recommend what makes sense after the free call.
Application and code review
How healthy is the code, how risky is it to change, and what is most likely to break? You get a plain-language verdict, not a wall of jargon.
Architecture and cloud review
Reliability, security, scalability and cost of your current setup, with the fixes ranked by impact and effort.
Modernize-or-rewrite decision
A clear recommendation on whether to stabilize, modernize in slices or rebuild, with the reasons, costs and risks of each route.
Workflow and process audit
How the work really flows today, where time and money are lost, and which steps are worth automating first.
What you get
A report you can act on, with or without us
No lock-in and no hidden upsell. If the honest answer is that you don't need much, that's what we'll write.
- A written report in plain language, yours to keep
- A risk register: what could go wrong, how likely, and how badly
- A prioritized roadmap with effort and cost estimates
- A clear recommendation, including "do nothing" if that is the honest answer
- A walkthrough call with your team to go through the findings

One to two weeks of reading code, mapping systems and talking to the people who use and maintain them.

The written findings and a call to go through them. What you do next is up to you.
Questions
Assessments: common questions
How much does an assessment cost?
It's a fixed fee, agreed in writing before any work starts, and it depends on the size of the system and what you want reviewed. We'll quote it after the free consultation.
Do we have to hire you afterward?
No. The report is yours, and you can use it to plan the work with your own team or another provider. Many clients do continue with us, but it's never a condition.
What access do you need?
Usually read access to the code and a walkthrough of the infrastructure, ideally through accounts you control and can revoke. We'll agree it up front, and we're happy to sign an NDA first.
How long does it take?
Typically one to two weeks of review, depending on size and how quickly we get access and answers from your team.
Is the first conversation free?
Yes. The consultation is free, about 30 minutes, with no obligation. The assessment is the paid, deeper step, and only if it's useful to you.
Tell us what you're dealing with.
Book a free, no-obligation call. You'll talk to a senior engineer, we'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and you'll leave with a clear next step either way.
