Why we started Bakaya Partners
We've been on both sides of bad recruiting. As engineers, we've been submitted to jobs without our knowledge, left waiting after interviews, and placed in roles that looked nothing like the description.
As hiring managers, we've watched agencies send résumé after résumé that missed the brief, because nobody on their side could tell a strong engineer from a good keyword match.
So we built the kind of firm we wanted to work with. One that listens before it recommends, that assesses people properly, and that stays involved after the contract is signed. Today that means two things: we take on software, integration and AI projects from first conversation to handover, and we place vetted senior engineers and dedicated teams for companies that would rather build in-house.

We care about clients and engineers equally. We take on engagements where both sides genuinely benefit, because good relationships beat one-off transactions.

We accept roughly the top 5% of engineers who apply, and we work with companies that treat engineers well. Quality over volume, always.
